Radically Inclusive Therapy for Adults And Couples
My approach is rooted in radical inclusivity. I honor and celebrate the diversity of the human experience. I am anti-racist, body positive, anti-oppressive, neurodivergent affirming, and LGBTQ+ identified. My style is warm and inviting.
This is my beloved dog, Mochi. She has too much energy to be a therapy dog, but I can always dream.
I believe in creating a safe, affirming, and welcoming space for all, especially for the LGBTQ community. My mission is to offer compassionate and personalized counseling services that respect your unique journey and identity.

LGBTQ Therapy
Therapy for LGBTQ individuals is a form of psychological counseling that specifically addresses the unique experiences, challenges, and needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community. It provides a safe and supportive space for exploring issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity, including coming out, gender transition, discrimination, and relationship dynamics.
Neurodivergent
Neurodivergence refers to the variation in the human brain regarding sociability, learning, attention, mood, and other mental functions in a non-pathological sense. It encompasses a range of conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, and others, highlighting the diversity in neurological development and functioning.
Gender Exploration
Gender exploration is the process of questioning, discovering, and understanding one's own gender identity, which may differ from the gender assigned at birth. It involves a personal journey of self-reflection and expression, where individuals might experiment with different gender roles, expressions, pronouns, or names to find what truly resonates with their authentic self.
Anxiety, Stress, and Depression
Individuals grappling with anxiety, stress, and depression often face persistent feelings of worry, nervousness, and fear that can be overwhelming and interfere with daily life. Stress tends to manifest as physical or emotional tension, stemming from various life events or challenges, and can exacerbate feelings of anxiety and depression. Depression is characterized by a deep sense of sadness, hopelessness, and a lack of interest or pleasure in activities, often leading to significant impairment in social, occupational, and other important areas of functioning.
My Approach & Philosophy
At Pride Therapy, my philosophy is centered around healing the Whole Person, encompassing mind, body, and spirit.
I believe that true well-being is achieved when all aspects of an individual's existence are in harmony. My approach is integrative and holistic, focusing not just on alleviating symptoms but on nurturing overall wellness.
Body:
Physical health is a cornerstone of mental well-being. I explore how your body holds and expresses emotions, and we work towards releasing physical tension and discomfort that may be linked to emotional states. This may involve recommendations for physical activities, mindfulness practices, or relaxation techniques that suit your unique body.
Mind:
Mental health is deeply connected to physical well-being. My counseling sessions are designed to provide cognitive and emotional support, helping you navigate and reframe thoughts and beliefs that may be hindering your mental health. I use evidence-based practices to enhance cognitive functioning, emotional regulation, and to foster resilience.
Spirit:
I honor the role of the human spirit in healing and personal growth. My therapy sessions are spaces where you can explore your values, beliefs, and the deeper aspects of your identity. I encourage practices that nurture your spirit, whether it be through creativity, connection to nature, meditation, or exploring your sense of purpose.
By addressing the body, brain, and spirit, I aim to guide you towards holistic healing and a fulfilling, balanced life.
